I have a B.Sc. in Biology (Special Award for the B.Sc. Thesis) and a M.Sc. in Biotechnology, both from the University of Cordoba. Currently I am performing my PhD Thesis funded by a competitive FPU individual fellowship from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation. The project focuses on the role of metal ion homeostasis in virulence of Fusarium oxysporum, particularly on the interaction between copper homeostasis and the regulation of superoxide dismutase activity during plant infection.
